By air

If you are travelling by air then the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport in Indore is the nearest airport to reach this wildlife sanctuary. From the airport the sanctuary is located at a distance of 19.3 km away. Approximately it would take you around 40 minutes to reach the sanctuary from the airport. You can easily take the local transport within the city to reach the wildlife sanctuary in Indore. Or else you can take a car or hire a cab as well to reach the location of the sanctuary from the Indore airport as well.

By train

If you are travelling by train the Indore Junction railway station is the nearest railway station to reach the wildlife sanctuary. At one point of time this sanctuary was basically a private hunting location. It was the Sikargarh or the hunting location for the royal family of Holkars.
